Working with Claude:
Foundations
Claude is a capable new colleague, and like any colleague it does its best work when you know how to brief it, what to hand over and how to check what comes back. This self-paced course gives you the practical habits to work with AI confidently and safely in your role.
The course takes approximately 4.5 hours to complete. It has five short modules, each ending with a quick assessment. You will also be working directly in Claude, with Claude assessing your work from a companion that you will build in the early part of the course. We use Claude because that's where your companion lives, but everything you learn applies to any AI assistant, from ChatGPT to Copilot.
By the end of the course, you'll know what to delegate, how to write a strong brief, how to work with files, and how to check your AI's work in proportion to the risk. No technical background required.

What's in it for the Learner?
Most people learn AI by trial and error, picking up habits as they go without a clear roadmap. This course gives you proven best practice from the start, so you skip the guesswork and get good results sooner.
You'll learn to work with AI the way you would with a capable new colleague: knowing what to hand over, how to brief it clearly, and how to check what comes back. You'll save time on drafting, summarising and analysis, and avoid the common traps of over-trusting or under-using AI.
Already using AI every day? Experienced users tell us the course still gives them practical methods they hadn't worked out on their own.

What's in it for the Company?
When people teach themselves AI by trial and error, every team ends up with its own habits, and the organisation pays for that learning curve many times over. This course gives everyone the same proven best practice from day one, so your people reach productive, safe use of AI sooner.
Shared habits for delegation, prompting and verification reduce risk from unchecked outputs, protect sensitive information, and make the return on your AI investment visible.
Even your most experienced AI users come away with methods they can apply and share, turning scattered individual experiments into a dependable, everyday capability across teams.
